Reducing the environmental impact of our activities and stakeholders

Beyond implementing local sourcing practices, KWE Cocktails strives to minimize its environmental footprint in multiple ways. Within our distribution network, we optimize transportation logistics to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

We actively seek synergies with Quebec-based businesses to upcycle our production residues. For example, we collaborate with a local soap company that repurposes our blueberry pulp and Labrador tea residues. Internally, we create candles using byproducts like juniper berries and fir shoots. Additionally, we incorporate dehydrated cranberry pulp—sourced from a regional partner—as a natural colorant.

To promote sustainability, we offer restaurant clients a return deposit system for our containers, encouraging reuse. Furthermore, for online order shipments, we exclusively use recovered materials from businesses or compostable packaging to minimize waste.
